The present invention provides a hydro-viscous speed regulating device forheavy-load start of abelt conveyor. An input shaft and an output shaft are connected through aspline tube, an innerfriction plate set, and an outer friction plate set. The inner and outerfriction plate sets arecontrolled by an inner oil cylinder and an outer oil cylinder respectively.Oil inlet and oil returnof the inner oil cylinder and the outer oil cylinder are controlled by an oilinlet valve core and anoil return valve core automatically. During starting process, pressure oilenters into the outer oilcylinder, and pushes the outer friction plate set to be engaged to providetorque required by theoutput shaft. After the starting process is completed, the revolving speed ofthe output shaft rises;the oil inlet valve core and the oil return valve core move outward under theeffect of acentrifugal force; the pressure oil enters into the inner oil cylinder andpushes the inner frictionplate set to be engaged to provide torque required by the output shaft, and atthe same time, oilreturns to the outer oil cylinder. That is, during starting process, the outerfriction plate setprovides large torque required for start, and the inner friction plate setprovides small torqueduring normal operation. The present invention achieves automatic switchingbetween differenttorque required for start and normal operation. Moreover, the presentinvention has a compactstructure, reliable performance, and low costs, and is applicable in a widerange.
