Stand-alone device for toilet paper or sanitary towels adapted for the regulated release of fragrance, constituted by a hollow external cylindrical support (1), provided with external surface (1.1) and internal surface (1.2), adapted to be engaged in a reversibly slidable manner with the external surface (2.1) of a concentric, coaxial and hollow internal cylindrical support (2), said internal cylindrical support (2) being placed in closed configuration, in which the internal surface (1.2) of the external cylindrical support (1) and the external surface (2.1) of the internal cylindrical support (2) are in contact; said internal cylindrical support (2) being able to assume an open configuration, in which said internal cylindrical support (2) projects below so as to abut the roll against a surface, preventing direct contact; the sliding of the internal cylindrical support (2) uncovers a predetermined portion of fragrant surface; said internal cylindrical support (2) being provided with break lines (2.4) adapted to allow the user to remove the portions of internal cylindrical support (2) delimited by said break lines (2.4); said break lines (2.4) acting as graduated scale in order to modulate the dose of fragrance.
