What has been described, is a rolling lifting system with the aim of being a tool for wheelchair users to lift a wheelchair, mounted on the rolling lifting system, to be able to overcome an obstacle threshold on their path. This obstacle threshold can occur in an ascending as well as a descending line. This means to say that the path surface behind the obstacle threshold can be lower as well as higher than the path surface on which the wheelchair user finds himself with his wheelchair, before having to overcome the threshold obstacle.
