A disaster escape facility 10 for emergency-evacuating a plurality of victims when a large-scale disaster occurs, the disaster escape facility 10 being constituted from a plurality of floors, a prescribed number of upper floors forming a evacuee temporary staying area 100 that is a flat structure, the areas on the floors below the evacuee temporary staying area having: upper-floor movement floors 210 on which a plurality of evacuees can walk upward to higher floors one floor at a time, and which are sloped to a degree allowing the evacuees to reside temporarily in that location; and an evacuee pedestrian movement area 200 provided at the ends of the upper-floor movement floors, in which it is possible to walk to a higher floor and to walk along the subsequent upper-floor movement floor, the evacuee pedestrian movement area 200 comprising horizontal turn-around parts 220 that are continuous in alternating fashion and on which it is possible to move.
