TABLE LOOK-UP METHOD FOR A NETWORK PROCESSOR, NETWORK PROCESSOR, TABLE LOOK-UP SYSTEM AND STORAGE MEDIUM

Disclosed are a table look-up method for a network processor, a network processor, and a table look-up system. A micro-engine of a network processor can generate a table look-up request of a table look-up type according to a received packet, and forward the table look-up request to a centralized controller. The centralized controller determines a controller corresponding to the table look-up request according to the table look-up type of the table look-up request, duplicates table look-up requests of the corresponding number, and distributes same to multiple controllers. The controllers assemble table look-up key values according to the table look-up type, and query memories connected thereto. By implementing the embodiments of the present disclosure, duplicating a table look-up request and forwarding same to a target controller having the same table look-up type can guarantee that a sent table look-up request can be executed concurrently by multiple controllers, effectively reducing the number of times interaction takes place between a micro-engine that generates the table look-up request and the controllers, and solving the problem of low table look-up efficiency of a microcode in the relevant art.
