MASTICATORY FORCE IMPROVEMENT COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING MASTICATORY FORCE

[Problem] To provide a composition which can be continuously ingested with ease and which makes it possible to efficiently improve or maintain masticatory force, and a method of increasing the masticatory force using said composition. [Solution] This masticatory force improvement composition is elastic and has a width of 15-50mm, a length of 7-65 mm, and a height of 7-20mm so can be placed in the mouth in a single bite; the composition has a size that does not allow the position in the mouth to be easily changed by use of the tongue and allows formation of boluses through vertical movement of the tongue without having to move boluses towards the molars with horizontal movement of the tongue and makes it possible to effectively improve or maintain the ability to "chew things thoroughly", making it possible to efficiently improve or maintain masticatory force.
