The method comprises: recording the hotels from a specific region as well as the bidding starting time, and recording the lowest price of the hotel rooms; determining, according to the region, star-rating requirements, check-in time and room bid submitted by a user to the system, whether there is a hotel for which the submitted room bid is higher than the lowest price of the available hotel rooms: if not, maintaining the current state, if so, pushing corresponding hotel information to the user. By allowing a user to reserve a hotel by bidding, the present invention can realize hotel selection on the basis of the user's star-rating requirements and price expectation, and can also promote the sales of the hotel and improve the occupancy rate thereof.
