An anti-theft system (1, la) for items exhibited for sale is described, of the type which has a plurality of means adapted to be fastened to an exhibiting plane and to connect the items to be protected against thefts; such means comprise a plurality of mini-units (2, 2a) contained inside casings which operate as exhibition supports (6) for the products exhibited for sale, or as supports (7) for connectors (30), adapted to connect the products exhibited for sale through extensible cables (7a); the supports (6, 7) are equipped with: quick actuation means, adapted to fasten and remove the supports (6, 7) to/from the exhibiting plane; alarm means, adapted to emit an alarm signal, both in case of unauthorized removal of the supports (6, 7) from the exhibiting plane, and upon a removal of the items exhibited for sale.
