FACIAL RECOGNITION USING AN ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK

Automatic facial recognition is performed by a convolutional neural network comprising groups of layers, wherein a first, second and third group contain a convolutional layer, a layer for grouping features using a max pooling function, and a layer for activating elements using a parametric linear function. A fourth group of layers contains a convolutional layer and a layer for activating elements using a parametric linear function.
