In order to provide an agricultural spreading agent composition that by including a specific aliphatic ester in a specific proportion, does not cause deactivation of available chlorine in hypochlorous acid water or an aqueous solution of a hypochlorite when the composition is added thereto, exhibits excellent wettability and adhesive properties with respect to objects to be sterilized and objects inflicted with disease or insect damage, has excellent low foamability, and is highly safe against the human body. This agricultural spreading agent composition comprises (A) at least one type of an aliphatic ester selected from the group consisting of (A1)-(A5), (B) at least one type of a water-soluble solvent medium (B) selected from the group consisting of propylene glycol, glycerol, and ethanol, and (C) water. The agricultural spreading agent composition is used by being added to hypochlorous acid water or an aqueous solution of a hypochlorite. (A1) Polyglycerol fatty acid ester. (A2) Sorbitan fatty acid ester. (A3) Glycerol fatty acid ester. (A4) Sucrose fatty acid ester. (A5) Propylene glycol fatty acid ester.
