Described is an apparatus of a User Equipment (UE). The apparatus may comprise a first circuitry and a second circuitry. The first circuitry may be operable to define a first set of one or more Extended Narrowbands (ENBs) for Downlink (DL) transmissions spanning a first set of more than six Resource Blocks (RBs) of the system bandwidth. The second circuitry may be operable to define a second set of one or more ENBs for Uplink (UL) transmissions spanning a second set of more than six RBs of the system bandwidth.
