The input unit (10) acquires a voice and generates voice data corresponding to the voice. The storage unit (20) stores the voice data from the input unit (10). The operation unit (16) is operated by a user. The control unit (22) determines a voice interval in the voice data stored in the storage unit (20) over which to perform voice recognition on the basis of an operation performed on the operation unit (16) by the user. The control unit (22) adjusts the determined voice interval when a prescribed operation performed on the operation unit (16) by the user has been detected.
