The present invention relates to a conjugate comprising a core and sialic acid, sialyllactose, or derivatives of same, bonded to the surface of the core, and a use thereof. The conjugate provided by the present invention inhibits the infection process of an influenza virus by binding to the hemagglutinin present on the surface of the influenza virus, thus is not only capable of preventing or treating an influenza virus infection but also capable of preventing or treating infections with influenza viruses exhibiting a tolerance to anti-virus formulations, and can therefore be widely used in the development of formulations for preventing or treating influenza virus infections.
