An example corn harvester (10) and associated systems and methods are provided. The corn harvester (10) includes a corn head (12) including a plurality of dividers (100). Each divider includes a top surface (106, 116), first (108) and second side (110) surfaces, a proximal end (112) and a distal end (114). One of the first or second side surfaces includes a recessed area (120) formed therein. The corn harvester (10) includes a tall corn attachment (102) mounted to the hood (104) and configured to be positioned in a stored position or a working position. In the stored position, the tall corn attachment (102) is received within the recessed area (120) of the hood (104). In the working position, the tall corn attachment (102) extends from the top surface of the hood (104). The tall corn attachment (102) includes a latching mechanism (208, 210) for locking the tall corn attachment (102) in the stored position or the working position.
