A freight transport system for rail transit and a platform for rail transit. The freight transport system for rail transit comprises a freight transport passage used for cargo handling. The freight transport passage comprises a loading passage (4) disposed at one side of a train, an unloading passage (5) disposed at the other side of the train, and handling equipment (6) used for pushing in cargo from one side of the train and/or pushing out cargo from the other side of the train. By configuring automatic handling equipment using a push-in and push-out handling approach, cargo is pushed into a carriage from one side of the train and pushed out of the carriage from the other side of the train. The present invention implements automated handling, and further improves handling efficiency. Moreover, the push-in and push-out handling approach features high efficiency and small space occupation.
