A method for stabilizing a surface compressive stress of chemically-toughened glass online, comprising the following steps: placing glass to be toughened together with a stabilizing agent into a strengthening furnace containing a glass toughing salt bath; reacting for a period of time under a certain temperature condition, and then extracting the glass along with the stabilizing agent from the strengthening furnace. The stabilizing agent chemically reacts with impurity ions in the glass toughing salt bath to remove the impurity ions from the salt bath, so as to stabilize the content of the impurity ions in the glass toughing salt bath, preventing the impurity ions from gradually accumulating, and ensuring that concentrations of main components in the salt bath become stabilized, thereby ensuring that the surface compressive stress (CS) value of the glass following the chemical toughening treatment can be stabilized within a required range.
