The present invention relates to the technical field of communications, and provided by the embodiments thereof are a Voice over Long Term Evolution (VoLTE) service processing method and apparatus, which may solve the problem in existing technology wherein user service may not be carried out or is forced into delay. The method comprises: a packet data network gateway (P-GW) acquiring policy and charging control (PCC) information, the PCC information comprising service flow information of a user service; the P-GW loading the PCC information to a default bearer if a preset condition is met so that the user service is borne on the default bearer.
