A soilless cultivation substrate and cultivation method for a fungus. Wood chips, wheat brans, dry cow dungs, plant ashes, dry dicranopteris pedata, peat soil, and pine needles are selected as substrate formulation materials. The peat soil is an organic matter-rich substrate material, and is used together with the wood chips, wheat brans, dry cow dungs, plant ashes, dry dicranopteris pedata, and pine needles. The fungus planting production period is shortened, the cultivation quality is superior to that of the traditional manure-straw substrate, and therefore, the yield and quality of fungus planting can be greatly and effectively improved.
