This syringe assembly 10 includes: a barrel 2 with a puncture needle, the barrel having a barrel body and a hollow puncture needle 6 fixed to the barrel body; and a seal cap 3 that seals a puncturing needle tip 61. The seal cap has a hollow portion 30 and a penetrable portion 33 into which the puncturing needle tip 61 inserted into the hollow portion 30 can penetrate. The seal cap is water vapor permeable and is in a state in which the puncturing needle tip is penetrated into the penetrable portion. At least the penetrable portion 33 of the seal cap 3 is formed from a silicone rubber-based elastic material that contains silicone particles and a lubricant.
