Disclosed are: a metallocene catalyst composition for producing a multimodal polyolefin resin having high melt strength, excellent molding properties, mechanical strength, processability, and external appearance; and a multimodal polyolefin copolymer using the same. The catalyst composition comprises one or more promoters, which are described in the specification and selected from the group consisting of: (i) one or more first organic transition metal compounds represented by Chemical Formula 1; (ii) one or more second organic transition metal compounds represented by Chemical Formula 2; (iii) one or more third organic transition metal compounds represented by Chemical Formula 3; and (iv) an aluminoxane represented by Chemical Formulas 4 to 6 in the specification.
