The present invention relates to a magnetic resonance spectroscopic signal pre-processing apparatus, which acquires processed data by pre-processing a magnetic resonance spectroscopic signal in order to extract substance information in the human body from the processed data produced by pre-processing the magnetic resonance spectroscopic signal acquired for the human body, comprises: a Fourier transform unit for Fourier transforming the magnetic resonance spectroscopic signal acquired for the human body from a time domain data into a frequency domain data; a differential filter application unit for applying a differential filter to the Fourier transformed magnetic resonance spectroscopic signal of the frequency domain so as to remove a signal, which is not the substance information in the human body to be analyzed; and an abs application unit for applying an absolute value function to the signal to which the differential filter is applied, thereby pre-processing the magnetic resonance spectroscopic signal acquired for the human body. Therefore, data of a metabolite to be analyzed, which is to be acquired from a magnetic spectroscopic signal, can be easily acquired or removed, baseline distortion from a water signal or a fat signal can be corrected, accurate data detection is facilitated since there is no signal distortion because of an absolute value form regardless of a phase value, and accuracy of metabolite quantitative analysis on an acquired signal can be improved since a signal-to-noise ratio is improved.
