The present disclosure relates to a video editing method and device, and a video taking method and device. The video editing method comprises: acquiring video editing parameters; and editing, according to the video editing parameters, a to-be-edited video labeled with height information during video taking. Said technical solution is able, when the video editing parameters have been acquired, to edit the to-be-edited video labeled with height information during video taking, avoiding the need of a user having to watch the whole to-be-edited video before being able to edit the video, thereby improving the video editing efficiency, and meanwhile reducing manual operation. Naturally, since manual editing is avoided, the accuracy of video editing can also be improved.
