In this in-blood component measurement method, near-infrared light is irradiated on blood that is to be measured in regard to the ratio of glycosylated hemoglobin in the total hemoglobin concentration included in the blood, transmitted light of near infrared light transmitted through the blood is received, the absorption spectrum of the blood is measured on the basis of the received transmitted light, and the ratio in the measured blood is calculated by making a comparison of the absorbance in a first wavelength region that includes 1450 nm in the measured absorption spectrum and the absorbance in the first wavelength region in the absorption spectrum of blood for which the ratio is already known.
