A digital television descrambling method and device. The method comprises: receiving a channel switching command for switching to a target program; determining whether a prestored authentication control information contains target authentication control information of the target program; if so, transmitting to a smart card the target authentication control information; receiving a control word responded by the smart card; and configuring, according to the control word, a descrambler, and descrambling the target program.
