METHOD FOR PREPARING HUMAN PLURIPOTENT STEM CELL-DERIVED LEYDIG-LIKE CELL, AND HUMAN PLURIPOTENT STEM CELL-DERIVED LEYDIG-LIKE CELL

Provided is a method for preparing a Leydig-like cell from a human pluripotent stem cell. Further provided is a human pluripotent stem cell-derived Leydig-like cell. It is possible to prepare a Leydig-like cell by overexpressing the NR5A1 gene in a human pluripotent stem cell. This human pluripotent stem cell-derived Leydig-like cell can be prepared using a method including 1) a step for introducing the NR5A1 gene into a human pluripotent stem cell, and 2) a step for expressing NR5A1 in the human pluripotent stem cell. A human pluripotent stem cell-derived Leydig-like cell prepared using this method has a testosterone-producing ability, and expresses INSL3, 17βHSD3, or LHCGR.
