A wearable device for preventing a fall according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a body worn by a user; a sensor unit, which is provided at the body, for detecting an operation of the user; a signal output unit, which is provided at the body, for generating a warning signal; and a control unit which is provided at the body and controls an operation of the signal output unit such that the signal output unit generates the warning signal when it is determined, on the basis of operational information transferred from the sensor unit, that there is a fall risk of the user or that the user is in a fall state.
