FUNCTIONAL MODULE FOR EXTENSION OF SPARE BAY FOR BUSBAR OF GIS WITHOUT POWER INTERRUPTION, AND EXTENSION METHOD

A functional module for extension of a spare bay for a busbar of a GIS without power interruption, disposed on a first busbar and a second busbar of a GIS, and comprising a first double-break disconnecting switch (DDS1), a second double-break disconnecting switch (DDS2), a first earthing switch (ES1), a second earthing switch (ES2), a third earthing switch (ES3), an extension end, a first air chamber, a second air chamber, a third air chamber, a fourth air chamber, and a fifth air chamber. The first double-break disconnecting switch (DDS1) and the second double-break disconnecting switch (DDS2) are of the same structure. The first double-break disconnecting switch (DDS1) and the second double-break disconnecting switch (DDS2) are separately provided with two isolating breaks at two sides thereof, and can be opened or closed at the same time. The advantage is that on the basis of the double busbar, only one integrated module is needed to ensure that power is not interrupted and operation is safe and reliable in the whole process of new bay extension construction and hand-over withstand voltage test of busbars of a GIS.
