The main purpose of the invention is to subdivide components of a cartoon into background, character, conversation, miscellaneous props and so forth and provide various creation options for each component, such that even an armature user unskilled at cartoon production can produce a cartoon of the user's own which can effectively present the user's various thoughts and feelings. A cartoon production service provision method using a network according to an embodiment of the present invention aimed at achieving the purpose involves a user terminal and a cartoon service provision server which are connected via a wired/wireless network, and the method for providing a cartoon production service by using the wired/wireless network comprises: a step in which the cartoon service provision server allows access, from the user terminal, for using the cartoon production service; a step in which the cartoon service provision server transmits data information on a background, a character, a conversation and props necessary for cartoon production to the accessed user terminal; and a step in which the cartoon service provision server receives, from the user terminal, and stores cartoon content created using the data information on a background, a character, a conversation and props necessary for cartoon production.
