Application of apple (Malus domestica) CSR6R6-777 to apple breeding. The preservation number of the apple (Malus domestica) CSR6R6-777 is CGMCC NO.12468. The purpose of breeding is to obtain apple germplasm with excellent characters. The apple germplasm with excellent characters is an apple plant meeting the following (a) and/or (b) and/or (c) and/or (d): (a) fruit pulp is all red; (b) the fruit pulp has high flavonoid content; (c) the fruit pulp has high anthocyanin content; and (d) the fruit pulp has high oxidation resistance. The method has great value on functional apple breeding.
