The present invention relates to an image providing method and device for acquiring and storing an intelligent high resolution endoscopic image, the image providing device of the present invention including: an image processing device for processing an image; an image buffer for allowing the image processing device to store a still image of a prescribed unit of time from a moving image acquired by an image acquisition device; and a storage device for storing a still image corresponding to a still image capture request, wherein for one or more images among images stored in the image buffer or storage device, the image providing device assists a user so they are capable of determining whether or not to perform re-imaging by visually or acoustically providing alarm information about a determination result regarding the presence or absence of a blur, or the location of a blur.
