MONGOS CLUSTER BALANCING OPERATION FAILURE PREVENTION METHOD AND DEVICE

A Mongos cluster balancing operation failure prevention method is provided. The method comprises: scanning each block in each shard in a Mongos cluster, and checking data stored in the blocks (S110); for each scanned block, determining whether data stored in the block reaches a preset threshold (S120); for a current block in which stored data reaches the preset threshold, dividing, in a shard in which the current block is located, the current block into one or more blocks (S130); and starting a Mongos cluster balancing operation, and migrating one or more blocks in the shard in which the current block is located to another shard (S140). The method of the invention can effectively prevent a Mongos cluster balancing operation failure, ensure that data in shards of a Mongos cluster is balanced, improve database cluster efficiency, and ensure service stability.
