The present invention relates to a route guidance device using an augmented reality, and a route guidance method using the same, the route guidance device comprising: a communication unit for receiving map information relating to a target space from an external server; a camera unit for collecting image information of the target space; a display unit for outputting augmented reality image information; and a control unit for performing control to generate virtual space information for the target space on the basis of the map information and the image information and output the generated virtual space information as the augmented reality image information.
