Proposed are original airfoils with a sharp leading edge which significantly enhance the aerodynamic qualities of a wing and of aircraft propellers for aviation. The advantage of the present airfoils is based on a method preventing influx of oncoming flow onto the upper plane of a wing and onto the leading plane of the blades of an aircraft propeller. Aircraft propellers with an airfoil of this type have no restrictions either in rate of rotation (up to 10000 rpm) or in blade tip speed (to as much as u=2 M - 3 M). An aircraft wing of this type is not subject to stalled flow, flutter or wave drag, or the generation of back lift along its upper contour - the perpetual enemies of air travel. Aircraft peak altitude and flight speed are increased sharply, leading to a significant saving in fuel.
