Disclosed are a method for improving the sensitivity of a plant to a gibberellin inhibitor and the use thereof. Experiments prove that the method of the present invention for improving the sensitivity of a plant to a gibberellin inhibitor can be used to improve the sensitivity of a plant to a gibberellin inhibitor, and the height of the plant can be regulated by using the height-related protein HRP of the present invention.
