An analysis-cell disposal container according to the present invention is characterized by including an accommodation chamber, an engaging part, and an engagement releasing part, and is characterized in that the accommodation chamber includes a space for accommodating an analysis cell and has an opening that can be opened and closed, the engaging part is an engaging part that can be engaged with the analysis cell, the engagement releasing part is a releasing part that can release the mutual engagement of the analysis cell and an analysis device, and when in use, with the opening of the accommodation chamber opened, the analysis cell inserted into the analysis device is accommodated inside the accommodation chamber, the analysis cell is brought into engagement by using the engaging part, the mutual engagement of the analysis cell and the analysis device is released by using the engagement releasing part, the analysis device is withdrawn from the accommodation chamber, and with the analysis cell accommodated in the accommodation chamber, the opening of the accommodation chamber is closed.
