An emoticon picture recommendation method and device, a server cluster (140, 700) and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring a usage record of groups of emoticon pictures used by a user, wherein each group of emoticon pictures in the groups of emoticon pictures corresponds to at least one image style (201); acquiring a recommendation index before correction of a specified emoticon picture, and acquiring the image style of the specified emoticon picture (202); correcting the recommendation index before correction according to the usage record, the image style of each group of emoticon pictures and the image style of the specified emoticon picture so as to obtain a corrected recommendation index (203); and recommending the specified emoticon picture to the user when the corrected recommendation index meets a recommendation condition (204). The emoticon picture recommended to the user according to the method is an emoticon picture which comprehensively considers the preference degree of the user for the image style of emoticon pictures, thereby improving the effectiveness of recommending emoticon pictures.
