WATER QUALITY ALARM SYSTEM AND METHOD APPLICABLE IN OUTDOOR DISPLAY SCREEN

A water quality alarm system and method applicable in an outdoor display screen. The system is characterized in that: when a threshold water quality is exceeded by the onsite water quality of a water quality detection station of a city at where a water quality alarm platform (101) is located, same transmits location information of the water quality detection station at where the onsite water quality exceeds the limit and the name of a street in the surrounding of the water quality detection station at where the onsite water quality exceeds the limit to an outdoor display screen monitoring platform (102) via the Internet of Things, the outdoor display screen monitoring platform (102), upon determining that a target outdoor display screen (103) in a working state is present on the street pertaining to the street name, transmits water quality alarm information comprising the location information of the water quality detection station at where the onsite water quality exceeds the limit to the target outdoor display screen (103) via the Internet of Things; and the target outdoor display screen (103) outputs the water quality alarm information. The water quality alarm system and method allow a water quality limit-exceeded alarm to be issued in a timely manner, thus ensuring the safety of water usage for a city.
