Provided is an optical film that can sufficiently suppress the occurrence of a hollow after a key touch and the adherence of dirt, and that is excellent in terms of scratch resistance. Also provided are a front surface plate of an image display device having the optical film, an image display device, a mirror having an image display function, a low resistance film type touch panel, and an electrostatic capacitance type touch panel. The optical film includes a resin film and a hard coating layer that is disposed on one surface of the resin film. The hard coating layer contains a polysiloxane-containing compound and a fluorine-containing compound. The film thickness of the resin film is greater than or equal to 80 µm.
