A piston support device for an outlet of a flue gas chamber of waste incineration power plant, providing a tube-like support bushing seat (3) on a piston rod (1) of a piston, the support bushing seat (3) being capable of being opened or closed, the support bushing seat (3) being sleeved, after being opened, on the piston rod (1) and located between a top plate (2.3A) of a flue gas chamber (2) and a piston rod shoulder (1.2), the support bushing seat (3) holding the piston rod (1) upward by means of the shoulder (1.2) to prevent the piston rod (1) from falling down. The piston support device can prevent, in cases where there is a leak in a compressed air main pipe, a solenoid valve fails and a compressed air pipe at the tail portion of a cylinder lifting valve head is broken, the piston core rod from dropping and causing the accidental closure of the flue gas outlet, thereby not influencing the standard procedure of waste incineration.
