An anti-peeping apparatus, an anti-peeping method thereof, and a display apparatus, the anti-peeping apparatus comprising: an upper substrate (1) and a lower substrate (2) arranged opposite to one another, and an electrophoresis layer (3) filled between the upper substrate (1) and the lower substrate (2); the surface of at least one of the upper substrate (1) and the lower substrate (2) facing the electrophoresis layer (3) is provided with an electrode layer (4); the electrode layer (4) comprises a plurality of strips of first sub-electrodes (41) distributed along a first direction; and the electrophoresis layer (3) comprises charged particles (31) electrically opposite to the first sub-electrodes and being used for absorbing light.
