The invention relates to a track formed by a substantially flat body having a rolling surface suitable for vehicles on at least one of the faces thereof, one of the longitudinal edges of the body being equipped with a pivotable connection means (4) for connecting same to one of the longitudinal edges of a platform-carrying structure or a vehicle-carrying platform. The track can adopt at least two positions, namely: a deployed position, in which the track (1, 2) is positioned horizontally such that vehicles can travel and bear on the track (1, 2), and a retracted or folded position, in which the track (1, 2) is positioned vertically, hanging from the pivotable connection means below the corresponding longitudinal edge of the vehicle-carrying platform (3) or the platform-carrying structure. The track can be divided into two halves that are pivotably connected to one another, and it can also be extended together with the platform on which it is located.
