The present invention provides formula I and formula II IDO inhibitors and preparation methods therefor, wherein R₁, R₂, and X groups are as defined in the specification. The present invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of formula I or formula II and a use thereof. The compound and pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof can be used in the preparation of drugs for treatment of diseases related to indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO), in particular for applications in treatment of a range of major diseases such as cancer, Alzheimer's, depression, and cataracts. The compound of the present invention has high efficiency and low toxicity, and has good potential medicinal value and broad market prospects.
