The invention relates to a method for producing a moulding tool with a structured surface, a moulding tool for producing structured-surface components from a ceramic fibre composite material, a method for producing structured-surface components from a ceramic fibre composite material and a component made from a ceramic fibre composite material having a surface with a structure. A method for producing a moulding tool with a structured surface allowing the surface of components made from a ceramic fibre composite material to be modified simply, inexpensively and as uniformly as possible is proposed consisting of providing a moulding tool with a surface and irradiating the surface in an irradiation area with a pulsed laser, wherein the irradiation is such that the surface is partially eroded forming a structured surface. A corresponding moulding tool for producing structured-surface components from a ceramic fibre composite material has a surface with a structuring that is designed to be complementary to the surface structure to be generated on the component.
