This sound pressure analysis device for high-sound-pressure sound fields is capable of accurately estimating a cavitation threshold and cavitation amount. This sound pressure analysis device (42) for high-sound-pressure sound fields is provided with a hydrophone (31) for outputting a voltage signal corresponding to the sound pressure of a sound field, a frequency analysis device (42), and a calculation device (23). The frequency analysis device (42) analyzes the frequency components of the sound field on the basis of the sound pressure signal from the hydrophone (31) and separates the frequency components into a fundamental frequency component, harmonic component, sub-harmonic component, and white noise component. The calculation device (23) determines, through calculation, the average sound pressure (ABP) of the white noise component within a frequency range for which there is practical sensitivity, estimates that there is a threshold for cavitation at the point where the ABP starts increasing from a value of roughly zero, and estimates the amount of cavitation from the size of the ABP.
