The present invention provides a method of preparing a bulk phosphorene, comprising the following steps: (a) forming a molded article by using black phosphorus powder; (b) performing spark plasma sintering (SPS) on the molded article to form a bulk phosphorene sintered body; and (c) cooling the bulk phosphorene sintered body. The method of preparing a bulk phosphorene according to the present invention can conveniently prepare a high-density homogeneous bulk phosphorene in a short period of time by using SPS process, and the bulk phosphorene prepared by the method does not suffer lowering of electrical characteristics even during the progression of atmospheric oxidation, and thus may be advantageously used in the development of a large-area two-dimensional semiconductor material that can serve as an alternative for pre-existing silicon semiconductors.
