The present invention relates to a multipurpose monitor stand, which comprises: a pair of side surface supports where insertion groove units with at least one groove are formed on one side surface thereof respectively and where the insertion groove units are placed to face each other; a back side board of which one side and the other side thereof are combined to the back side upper part of the pair of side surface supports respectively; and a first front side board which is inserted into the insertion groove units in order to be combined to the front side upper part of the side surface supports. Therefore, the multipurpose monitor stand can change a first front side board freely in order to be positioned at the eye level of a user or to utilize the space by placing a pair of side surface supports such that insertion groove units can face each other, by combining a back side board to the back side of the side surface supports for placing a monitor, and by inserting the first front side board into a first horizontal groove and a second horizontal groove formed on the front side of the side surface supports, and can maximize space utilization by inserting a second front side board additionally for storing office supplies or a keyboard in a storage space formed between the first and second front side boards.
