According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for providing a quality assurance route using a communications system including a controller and an egress tunnel router (ETR), comprises the following steps of: constructing network structure and configuration information of a communications system by a controller; receiving a communications start flag with respect to a communications packet by an ETR; receiving flow characteristic information with respect to the communications packet from a host, in response to the communications start flag, by the ETR; determining a quality assurance route of the communications packet based on the provided flow characteristic information, network structure, and configuration information by the controller; and providing a route setting signal to a switch on the determined quality assurance route by the controller. The communications packet may include an endpoint identifier (EID), and the ETR may be allocated with a routing locator (RLOC) mapped to the EID.
