Provided are a phototransistor including a channel generated by using graphene and a method for manufacturing the same. The phototransistor comprises: a graphene layer connected to a source; a first layer connected to a drain; and a channel including a tunneling barrier connecting the graphene layer and the first layer, wherein the phototransistor has a field effect transistor (FET) structure.
