The present invention relates to PI powder for an SLS-3D printer and a manufacturing method thereof, and more specifically, to PI powder for an SLS-3D printer, which can be applied as an SLS-3D printing material by lowering the crystallinity of a PI material, which was difficult to be applied as an SLS-3D printing material, and adjusting imidization degree; and to a method for commercially producing the same.
