Provided is a low-priced and highly efficient bifunctional electrode. Moreover, provided is a solar-to-hydrogen module in which a water electrolytic cell consisting of the electrode and a solar cell are coupled. To this end, the electrode for water electrolysis comprises: a support; and a nanowire array including a nickel cobalt sulfide (NiCo_2S_4) in a spinel structure on the support.
